Saw there in Walmart yesterday. Only a back each. Metal superhero figures – Batman, Green Lantern, Flash etc. The color schemes are glossy – but since they are metal I am sure they can be repainted.
I think the are a bigger then 28MM, maybe 30mm?

Has anyone else seen these?

ASDA in the UK haven them in the bigger stores. DC and Marvel figures. Not the greatest sculpts, but pretty cheap at less than £2.00 GBP each.

I got the Harry Potter Nano Metalfigs and picked up a pack of the Guardians of the Galaxy figs while I was at it.

You can see my review and comparison to Heroclix here:

I even stripped the paint off one of the Harry's to see how much detail was hidden under the paint.

The short version is that they're about 38 or 39mm from sole to eye. They are bigger than -but might look alright next to- Heroclix figs which presently measure around 34mm.

I can't afford to collect the premium upcoming Knight Minis Harry Potter figs so I'm collecting as many of the Nano's as I can. I hope to figure out some sort of game for my family to play with them.

OrdinaryBass – excellent review. I am thinking of getting the DC line and repainting them to more "traditional" colors. Not sure if I will do any gaming with them, but just to display with my other DC Batman collectibles. Price is too good to pass up on these.
