Today was my last day of work! Nothing but gaming and painting on the horizon. Wait what is this list of 'Things to do' my wife just gave me? Damn never enough time retired or not. Greg |

YOU WILL LOVE IT!!! Been retired since December 22nd & livin' the dream. Ignore the To Do list, I put mine under a pile of papers & "lost it". LOL |

Enjoy it. You'll find plenty to keep you busy and you'll wonder how you managed to do it all before you retired. |

Sorry to tell you this, but you never retire-you just start to work full time for the wife. For no pay. |
wrgmr1 | 08 Sep 2017 6:21 p.m. PST |

Enjoy yourself! I'm on a count down to being made redundant due to a merger but sadly retirement is not yet in the cards. Darn college tuition bills… |
Der Alte Fritz | 08 Sep 2017 9:06 p.m. PST |
Congratulations on your retirement. I've been there since last November and am having the time of my life. However, it seems like I've got more work to do than when I was working. Go figure. |

Wargames are great for the mind but you need to keep fit as well. If nothing else walk local and work out how you would defeat the enemy, Or look after a grand kid 1 day a week, thats Olympic standard exercise, but most of all make every day count and have FUN. |
Shagnasty | 09 Sep 2017 2:53 p.m. PST |
Congratulations! Do stuff you want to do that involves physical activity first. Don't let the Wall sneak up on you. Every day is a Saturday! |

Recently made redundant, I am trying to figure out if I can retire early. Probably not for a couple of years yet, though … |
Tom Reed | 10 Sep 2017 12:41 p.m. PST |
1 to 2 years and I'm out too! |
Howler | 11 Sep 2017 12:54 p.m. PST |
Congrats! My wife laughs at the mention of me retiring and asks me who put that silly idea into my head. Oh well, I'd probably get bored anyway. |
Elenderil | 11 Oct 2017 10:01 a.m. PST |
Just over 44 months to go for me. Much as I love my job I can't wait to have the time to do all the stuff I have been putting off for years. |
Legion 4 | 11 Oct 2017 1:12 p.m. PST |
Well I guess I am retired … I just got Soc Sec Disability. I'll be 61 in a couple of months so it's about a year early. A lot of my older friends who are on Soc Sec. have told me to take it at 62. You never know what could happen … |
14Bore | 19 Oct 2017 3:21 p.m. PST |
Congratulations, I'm not there for a while but a suggestion I would give you and to any other guy. Keep busy, work, hobby, trips or whatever. So in that vein, how is that lead pile anyway? |
Legion 4 | 20 Oct 2017 7:15 a.m. PST |
Thank U ! I plan on painting all my models until the day I die. And come back and continue to paint until they are all completed. Then I may move on … Or haunt some people that I think deserve it ! LOL ! And in between painting I've got a number of things to keep me busy ! Alive or dead ! |
