Starship – 3d printable OpenLOCK-compatible Deck Plans KS -3d printable internal starship components A new kickstarter started yesterday, 'Starship – 3d printable OpenLOCK-compatible Deck Plans', which runs until 3.59PM (BST) on Friday 6th October. The KS started off with an initial goal of 5,000 SEK (Swedish kroner), approx. £480.00 GBP or US$ 620, it reached this in under 1 hour and has since already unlocked the first 2 stretch goals. The stretch goal map looks as if it will particularly easy to follow on the homepage. The current stretch goal map showing the first two stretch goals unlocked is here (though expect it to expand fairly quickly) : link There are numerous pledge levels ranging from 50 SEK (£48 / $62 USD) up to 2,500 SEK (£240 / $310 USD). The tiles are 'OpenLock' compatible and based on the 2 inch square which means they should be able to fit in nicely with other similar OpenLock tiles from other designers making crossover use easy. The link to the kickstarter is: link This seems to be a great set of designs suitable for both wargaming and RPG |

Correction to the prices of the pledges the 50 SEK is actually equivalent to £4.80 GBP / $6.20 USD for the lowest level pledge. :) |

I like VERY much. Very versatile, also for accessorizing other stuff. And the mecha look good, too. |

Well not only did this kickstarter funded within the first hour it has now gone on to already unlock 5 stretch goals already and is approaching the 6th one. The kickstarter is based on the 'OpenLock' (designed by PrintableScenery.com) tile system, and as the name of the kickstarter suggests is for the building of the internal decks of starships (though of course many of the designs will obviously be incorporated into any futuristic or Sci-Fi system on solid ground). Here are a few of the pics from this kickstarter:

In my opinion … Commander is the sweet spot for this campaign. That gets you everything; all sets, all stretch goals, and also all of the commissioned work that others pay to have designed. You don't get to design anything yourself, but you will benefit from their having paid more! |

Thanks for posting this CBRFigs. Since it was posted, we have hit 15 stretch goals, so someone like Seatle Gamer will get 66 additional pieces, plus the 52 hours that have been commissioned during the campaign. We also have released some mid-campaign add-ons:
I've been increasing the quality with each new item. There's only two days, left, so if you haven't had a chance to check it out, now's the time. |
