After completion of the Anderson's confederate Brigade I have had the opportunity to complete two union Brigades from the V Corps spring 1862.
These are probably the largest brigade and the smallest I will be doing per the OOBs I am working from.

The large 22 stand brigade in Martindale's is from the first division and the smallest is the 9 stand zouave brigade of Warren's from the 2nd Division.

All are the fine 10mm figures from Good Ground.

Warren's brigade is painted as the 5th NY. I will be replacing 4 stands with the proper 10th NY, some time later.

Enjoy

thanks

Looking great Greg. Love the look of the Zouaves. Nicely painted and based all around. Again, if you have some pics to send I would love to out these up on my Facebook page.

You can never go wrong when you put zouaves on the table.

Painting and figs look very nice – thought they were 15s at first too!

Thanks guys
I am not the painter of "Gunny" or other on TMP (who can do 15s that look as 28s).
But practice with and approach of painting as if 15s I took with the zouave units did work well.
The other units, I am taking a more impressionist approach and utilizing the fine detail of the Good Ground Figures with strategic and separate washes (union pants, confederate entire fig, flesh, etc) w/o highlight or little there of, something new to me.

Teddy bear fur just doesn't look right with 10mm figures. But that's just my opinion. I suspect most people like it.
