  Ged from Gringos40 tells me this is Sir Hope Grant, a British Commander in the Opium wars at some stage (1860 I gather). Due to be added to their rapidly expanding  range in 28mm To quote Ged's e mail this morning "thought you might like to see this chap, who by all accounts was a splendid commander, loved his men..inspirational..played the Violaand was a pretty good tactician..all round good egg.
 really pleased with my sculpter as he has captured his essence!" I'd agree, to judge by the accompanying images
