Hi all,
Looking at Xyston's 15mm Achaemenid range, I was drawn to Levies in Median Dress and Levies in Eastern Dress and was wondering if these might have carried shields or not? They are not supplied with the figures which suggests not but there are plenty of optional extra shields available. As these might have formed up as a mob would they be described as LMI?

I'm pretty sure they come with shields, though it is long since I bought mine. They aren't in the photos but most of the other figures don't have shields shown either.
The shields which I think are supplied are crescent shields. As for grading, that depends somewhat on the rules. LMI might make them too proficient in difficult terrain. |

Hi Nigel, They do come with shields and will be either the crescent shield or a small round shield. In FOG they are Medium Infantry
In Hail Caesar,Imputvs, Sword and Spear and Too The Strongest they are Light Infantry You could always use them as javelin armed skirmishers. |
