… Stories About Making ‘Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan'. "We live in a day and age where no one can agree on anything. People are divided on almost every subject imaginable and it's incredibly rare when a group of people can come together on anything. But if you get a group of Star Trek fans together, no matter their political background, no matter what they think is the best Star Trek show, I'd wager every person in the room would agree with this one statement: Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan is the best Star Trek movie. Released in the summer of 1982, The Wrath of Khan was made on a fraction of the budget compared to the first Trek movie (Star Trek: The Motion Picture) by using tons of cost-cutting techniques to keep the budget down including reusing models, sets, effects footage, and costumes from the first film…." I DO agree, Wrath of Khan was the best! |

This is true. "Wrath of Khan" was the best. But in fairness to "Where NOMAD has Gone Before," it wasn't as horrendously over-priced as it appeared. Paramount stuck it with the entire development cost of the revived TV series they never aired. If I kept my books the way Hollywood studios do, I'd be wargaming in a federal penitentiary. |

I'm guessing the interview is a two-parter, as it just seems to end in mid thought? |

Where's the rest of it? |

Agree, Wrath is the best Star Trek movie. It's all there for me, at least Bill Shatner says "bye-bye", so I assume that's the complete piece? link |

Thanks for your link, Huscarle. I got the whole thing with that. Not sure what happened with Tango's; probably just a glitch of the website, not anything Tango did. |
