Anyone using these: amzn.to/2vKVjxT

for gaming? I would think Starmada would be a good set of rules to use. Someone must be doing this.

Woah … Those are CHEAP!

Sorry, can't comment on rules, only the ships…

I 'had' these ones in kit form:

Alas, victims of a messy divorce in the land of the setting sun :-)

Cheap and easy to assemble. Just a touch of paint and the next thing you know you are having fun!

There are two scales of SBYamato ships: There are 1/1000 scale boxes, and then there's the Mecha Collection size, which is significantly smaller (Probably 1/2000 or box scale).

These are the Box Scale versions.

As an aside, the 1/1000 kit series is pretty awesome. I have the Cosmo Navy Set #2 (with 2 CAs & 2 DDs), the Garmillas Set #1 (with the iconic BB, & BC), & the new Cosmo Navy set for Yamato 2202. All are fantastic kits, pretty easy to assemble, robust & need minimal painting if you choose to go that way…

Ooooh… One of the suggested items is this VERY nice updated Macross SDF ship. I'm definitely getting a couple of these for my collection!

Wrong scale (1/3000) but rather tasty IMO (and transformable):

And it only costs £442.00 GBP :-)

I can't believe Leland hasn't piped in; he's been floggin' the Space Cruiser Yamato kits so long, and well, you'd think he'd have stock in HLJ or Bandai. ;->=

Try this Google search: link

Are these all different scales? I seem to recall hearing they were made to match the box size rather than a standard scale across the collection.

Hi, I own a load of the smaller kits. The DD's come 2 to a box and are smaller than the capitol ships. They are nice and run under 2 bucks a box.

@JustBill: Yes, the Mecha Collection models are box scale.

Now, Leland, want does NOT equal 'can't believe he hasn't…'

JUST like an evil, maniacal overlord to misinterpret. ;->=
