The Honest Prague Guide is extremely helpful: YouTube link No proper game shops, unfortunately, but the Army Museum in Žižkov is worth a visit, as well as the Technical Museum. |

The Air Museum at Kbely is pretty good. link The Technical Museum is where the tanks are. It's a quaint train ride out of town. vhu.cz/english-summary Prague Castle is a must see. Go at lunchtime, they do a 'changing of the guard' routine. link |

I'm told that the Museum of Communism is small but a must-see. Cold War Communism as seen through the eyes of those who actually had to endure it: link link I would love to get my hands on some of their parody vintage "postcards". Dan

Charles Bridge is great, the Turkish slaver statue was my favourite on there. The Castle is a must. I was inside the castle rooms looking out over the views, when I noticed a plaque next to the window. It was the site of the Defenestration that started the Thirty Years War! |

Just realised that the Technical Museum is sure to be closed in November. Probably the threat of snow. |

Day trip to Kutna Hora. St Barbara's is the prettiest cathedral I've ever seen (and I've seen a few). In Prague, you can probably catch a performance of "Don Giovanni" in the original theatre if you're a music lover. "Nahore bez" (with a Czech accent over the r) at a bar means "on top without". Curiously respectable establishments, usually. |
