Based on their designation, which faction do you think those minis belongs to? And yes I know I can use them however I see fit, that's not what I'm asking… - "Pkz VII STURMKAMPFER" can't really be anything but German/NSL… - Is it just me (and my anti submarine warfare background) or does the "K56" in "K56 FAT BOY" feel Russian? - "AT-71 Hound Dog" feels US to me… - What about "VBP-2 TORTOISE"? | | Legion 4 | 30 Aug 2017 10:27 a.m. PST

 Yes, those work. VBP = UK, IMO … | | Goober | 30 Aug 2017 2:34 p.m. PST

 VBP – sounds FSE to me – Véhicule Blindé Patrouille? | | Legion 4 | 30 Aug 2017 3:35 p.m. PST

 Ah yes ! That makes perfect sense ! | | wolvermonkey | 30 Aug 2017 5:20 p.m. PST

 Japan. Look up the anime Votoms. | | Trojan Points | 31 Aug 2017 7:42 a.m. PST

 - K56 FAT BOY… I'd chalk up the un-Russian "Fat Boy" as being some sort of NATO reporting name used by anglo-saxon/international forces instead of the unpronounceable (to them) official designation… - VBP as "Vehicule Blindé (de) Patrouille" or something, I'm not sure… The french do use those kind of acronyms for their gear but usually don't add a number and/or a nickname to it (they sometime do, e.g. ERC-90 Sagaie, but usually not)… Not sure either about tortoise for a French vehicle name (unless it's what someone else calls it)… | | Trojan Points | 31 Aug 2017 7:45 a.m. PST

@Wolvermonkey Are you saying that those designation are based on the ones used in Votoms? Or that the models themselves are based on the vehicles portrayed in Votoms? I can't imagine the JSDF (or its successor) calling one of their vehicle "Fat Boy"… | | wolvermonkey | 31 Aug 2017 5:54 p.m. PST | | | | Trojan Points | 02 Sep 2017 10:52 a.m. PST
