I am working on having a graphics artist create color leader images for a game I am working on using the B&W images I get off of the internet. Unfortunately, one of the things I hadn't thought of reared its ugly head: hair and especially eye color.

If I can find a color image of a leader well obviously this is all moot. But where I cannot find one then it means I have to research both of these. The hair color is of primary concern.

If it were the Seven Years War I could just have them all wearing a powdered wig. Pretty easy. But this is the Napoleonic era when the powdered wig was well on its way out (unless the individual was bald).

Its a challenging project. I will update you on the progress and even post my chart when I get it going.

Look for period portraits. I recently redid my Russian and Prussian generals and while at 15mm limited I tried to get hair styles right.
