I was in Hamilton, Ontario, Saturday for Broadsword 4, and played in a couple of fun games, ran a game that was hopefully fun, and bought some stuff!

Had a good time too. Thanks to Barnaby, and his family and others who helped.

Thanks to Michael Manning and his Danes vs Estonians/Lithuanians(?) game using an old school ruleset who's name I have forgotten (Might of Arms possibly?). Some how, through no credit to my generalship, our side achieved a minor victory. I blame Chris for our success.

Second game was a fun learning game of Blood and Plunder where Mike Barret and myself played against some heavy hitters (James from Hotlead and Keith from Kegscon). We got destroyed until our burning wreck crashed into James and Keith's pristine pirate ship and forced them to run aground on a small sand bar. How's that for sailing acumen? For that we are claiming a morale victory. Small consolation for the few surviving members of our crew. Thanks also to our intrepid GM who had a harrowing trip to get himself and all his gear to the con.

It was fun playing with you Ralph in the Might of Arms game, you held the knights off long enough for us to beat up their centre and left.

That looked like a fun B&P game, Keith and James have reports and photos up from their POV, links are at the bottom of my blog post.

Cheers,
Chris
