Has anybody else had issues with Total System Scenic? I placed an order for 119.60 British Pounds of rubber river product shipped across the Atlantic. When the river sections arrived they had no packing slip and the 2 sections of river fords were missing (12 GBP in value). I've emailed them several times now and not so much as a response of acknowledgement. |

Hi Wizbangs, according to an email I received from Chas at TSS on the 18th, they were shutting down for a couple weeks. |

That would account for my order seeming to be a little slow. You know, it would be helpful if they mentioned things like that on their web site. |

I have made a couple of inquiries regarding delivery of some their product to Canada and have never received a response. |

Our Summer Shutdown starts on Friday 18th August and we will be closed until the 1st September. I will be coming in during the second week to catch up with some moulding. There are more Feudal Scots on the way, plus the some more WW1 including the Minerva Armoured car and Limber and Caisson teams for the Indian Army, plus more figures for the Carlist Wars in Spain. |

Thanks dragon6. Unfortunately most consumers don't visit the TMP news page before ordering from their web site. I agree that something on their web site should have indicated as such, or at the very least an automated email response when the order is placed (I got an order confirmation email, so it would have been practical to do it there). I got an email response from them yesterday informing me of this news, probably on account of this post. |

Wizbangs – it IS on their website under NEWS. I sometimes wonder why we bother putting info on our websites when nobody makes an effort to look for it. |

Because the term "news" on websites has been watered down as a way of announcing this newest product or that one… things I may not be interested in. It's an unfortunate situation, but that is what the typical "News" page has on today's web sites. |

So here we are- another month gone by. A single email from TSS when they returned from holiday that they would address the issue. Two weeks later I sent an email for status with no response. Any of you defenders of TSS service have an explanation since I can't get one from TSS? Do you think holding my 12 GBP for 2 months is good service? |

I can feel the world tilting on its axis under the impact of this catastrophe ;-) |

I believe they have a Facebook page. If you are a member of Facebook I believe they have a messenger system which TSS suggest they will answer pdq. I'm not so I can't vouch for it – but if you are it might be worth asking why it has taken so long via that method? |

Gwydion: done and still no response. Although I will stop short of calling this malicious, I believe that if you are not competent enough to grant consumers their basic Rights then you are not competent enough to be running a business in the first place. |

To be fair, the rest of the order showed up yesterday unannounced with no further correspondence from the company. |
