My tube of Basics Burnt Sienna went grainy--possible to use, but troublesome. When I plunked down $4.99 USD for another 4 ounces, I worked it out. I bought that tube in about 2002, and it spent at least one cold Indiana winter--more likely three--in an unheated garage. Most of the other tubes I bought in 2002 are still going strong. I say "yea, Liquitex!" |

Yep ! Use it all the time. Great stuff. But ant paint left in cold will have issues. |

Any water based paint will break down and separate if frosted or fully frozen. |
