The HAWKS's "Armies for Kids" project for next year's Historicon will be 25/28mm Medieval gaming. As before, 6 young people will be given complete wargame sets--2 painted armies, rules, terrain, and dice.

I started the ball rolling at Fall In when I lucked into a large number of figures being sold on behalf of a war gamer's widow, but as always, with 12 armies to complete, we can use any and all medieval figures that have been sitting around, looking for good homes. All quantities will be gratefully received--odd lots, single figures, painted, unpainted, based, unbiased, whatever you have. We're getting this project underway now, as painting medievals may be a bit more difficult than other periods!

If you have anything at all to contribute, please contact any member of the HAWKS. I can supply names and contact information if needed. Write to me directly at < bumbydad@gmail.com >

Thanks, guys.
