"How badly did CBS want Michael Dorn to pop into its new Star Trek series to more or less give it his Klingon blessing? Not enough to pay him, apparently. Dorn, best known for playing Lt. Cmdr. Worf in both Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, reportedly told an audience in Orlando, Florida he was offered a role in Star Trek: Discovery on CBS All Access, but he turned it down when they refused to pay him anywhere near what he's received for playing Worf in the past…" Main page link Amicalement Armand

Maybe they could have Young Worf, voiced by Jim Parsons. If he isn't too busy. |

That was just his excuse. One look at the script would have told Micheal Dorn to run from this thing like a Klingon from his mother-in-law. They're ain't enough money in the world to pay a seasoned pro to be in that steaming pile of straight-to-all-access… |

Why would Michael Dorn an actor known for playing a proud klingon want to be in a series that made "klingons" into religious fanatical uruks? |

I'm ed if I know why anyone would want to pay $6 USD a month to be told off for being born a cis het white dude (particularly when so many are just dying to do it for free). Not that I am bitter. |

Worf would be a slow soldier if he first shows up 10 years before the original series timeline then is only head of security section in TNG timeline. Oh wait, the federation service is not military. So maybe he has not accepted the politics of the federation and is black listed.

Presumably if he appeared it would have been as Worf *father* of Mogh whom he played in Star Trek VI rather than TNG/DS9's Worf son of Mogh. |
