I swear I first read the title as "Head removed from 7th Fleet Commander"

I swear I first read the title as "Head removed from 7th Fleet Commander"

…yeah, sort of like a more extreme version of what happened to Admiral Byng.

Seems training has taken a backseat in the 7th Fleet.

I'd think rule #1 = don't hit other boats!

I thought 7th Fleet was the Pacific Fleet. Is there another senior command? What other assets do they command other then 7th Fleet?

Sacked!!! Too much emphasis on diversity training and not nearly enough on collision avoidance at sea.

PacFlt also includes SUBPAC and 3rd Fleet. 7th fleet is the guys in Japan.

I swear I first read the title as "Head removed from 7th Fleet Commander"

I'm sure the Admiral felt that way…

Coopman,

Lol. Well, I'm sure that might happen one day. Math is no longer a required subject at many US universities but diversity, (hyper)sensitivity classes, the (West's) "Great War on Women" and other ridiculous things are.

It will take generations and determined effort to regain any kind of competitive edge. If not, in a few years we may need to recruit troops from foreign countries who can do basic math.
