"Sounds like bad news for the epic Weird WWII flick, Panzer 88. Sounds like the project might fall apart unfortunately. See what Peter Briggs has to say.

"8 years ago, we started on this grand project. It was designed to be a WW2 movie with a difference: something that beyond its premise, would on a factual WW2 level showcase striking visuals that simply hadn't been seen onscreen before. It was designed from the outset to be *different.*

Yeah… I dunno about this. Think about how much the "we want historically-correct" crowd bleeped and moaned about Fury, and that at least made an effort to be historical. This one sounds more like a WWII version of 300 in the making.

Oddly enough, after watching the "trailer" promo, I think I'd be interested in watching this movie! I mean, really – how could I NOT watch a movie with a Tiger II in it????

The problems with Fury had nothing to do with historical correctness. The problems with 300 are too innumerable to count. If either had been a good movie I would have forgiven any faults with historical accuracy – like I've done with Battle of the Bulge.

My first thought on this one is too bad, so sad – but I did get a kick out of SS Doomtrooper so perhaps I would have gotten a kick out of this one.
