Great to see the Master, Mr Barton, producing more Napoleonics, and von Winterfeldt, yes Tango has been Tangoed, but better to be told twice than not at all, and lazy people like me who stick to the main Napoleonics this is the first time I have seen it

So…not that crushing defeat … (smile)

That does make the point why folk, who want their postings seen, put everything into the Discussion Board. Even if little to discuss.

I have tried to be more responsible and stuck to Gallery or Products as appropriate. I know some do get annoyed about much crossposting….and not unreasonably.

Tricky this

Be easier to see stuff the first time if there wasnt a torrent of posts…

von Winterfeldt23 Aug 2017 5:14 a.m. PST

alas it always kills the thread of the original poster

Agree with both above.

But the torrent tends to be on Discussion. See how rarely anything appears solely on Painting or New Products…

even when the subject is…well, painting or new products!

and we all want our postings seen and inspiring comment and feedback…..otherwise, why bother?

These are fabulous new products, but you have to ask…what is to discuss?

Deus Vult showed the integrity to just post these on New Products. Tango got far more attention by posting them onto Discussion. Arguments both ways….

Glad you like them too my good friend!. (smile)

von Winterfeldt23 Aug 2017 11:22 a.m. PST

yes, it should be in new products.

and at risk of just putting this back to the top yet again….

I agree.

We must encourage folk to move beyond "Discussion" or, if other topics are of no interest, however sad and pathetic, that is what the audience then seems to want…….drop the other fora and everything goes on Discussion.

But if that is what we want. Let's have real discussion.

If I post summat. I would rather have someone say that I got some minor detail wrong than just say "cool". Button counting is what I try to do and, if anyone gives me advice, I welcome that and, then, it is my choice to change or not.

If I "like" something I see here I try to say why. Today it was Cossacks and facial highlights and beard shading, I praised.

Our comments must "add value"….if on "Discussion"
