"Who is your favorite poster?" Topic

OK, this is not a suggestion to diss certain posters, but rather to recognize those posters who you always read because:
A. Their posts are always interesting
B. They post on subjects I am interested in
C. A and B
D. They post with a sense of humor
E. They post How-To's
F. I know them personally and I told their Mom I would be nice to them.

I always liked the old Fillmore West psychedelic posters.

Me! Because my posts are always relevant, pithy, succinct an keep me amused. Umm, except maybe this one.
Honestly, for me, it's more about the topics than who posts it.

Farah Fawcett was my first thought.

Everybody who posts and contributes to this hobby. Any post that gets me interested in a new period or a new game. Anyone who posts beautifully painted miniatures which inspire me. All the posters are my favorite.

Well Farrah Fawcett was my first reaction too. Also had a poster of a Lamborghini Countach. One of a Porsche and a whole bunch of sports posters and some of the psychedelic posters. Some black light posters, like my Doors poster.

Rush before their "Moving Pictures" album, especially posters of them in concert with Geddy Lee playing his double-neck Rickenbacker bass/six-string guitar…

Anything from Despair, Inc.

Frazetta posters, every time. And especially on TMP: think how many of them have become miniatures.

OK children, I obviousily underestimated the emotional(and mental) response level here.
Now that we have had a chance to relive our teenage lusts, let's try to be somewhat serious(if possible).

Lets try to limit our responses to actual living TMPer"s who post subjects relevant to our hobby.

I'm sure there are others I forgot but this is a starter list.

Tango01 is all over these boards and I sometimes learn new things from his posts that I would not have otherwise seen.

I find many of Cacique Caribe's comments agreeable.

First choice, Cacique Caribe. I'll also include Combat Painter (is he gone?) and Supercilius Maximus, the expert on all things concerning the American Revolution/American War of Independence.

Farrah is also pretty knowledgeable about the American Revolution.

Another vote for Supercilius Maximus. He is a fount of knowledge about AWI and patiently shares that with fellow gamers.

I would propose that you are one of my favorites, someone involved in production and retail but who also shares our passion for the hobby.

Good call, Rush posters. Had the 2112 poster.

Remember when posters came the an album LP (vinyl)? I still have all of them. I had the presence of mind to keep them and in excellent condition. Over the years I have become interested in vintage travel posters.

Just to prove how old I am,"Cat Shannon".

I probably look at one of Tango's every day but our Russian posters often give me invaluable information
