…and lead you through the streets of London…

Or rather, follow the link to my blog to see how I've made some remarkably cheap and easy Victorian gaming tiles, complete with cobbles. Three 1' square tiles for less than £5.00 GBP.

Great start. Would love to see your progress on this as I want to create something similar at some point.

Thanks all. As this is my current focus in both gaming and on my blog, I will be concentrating on building up my small slice of "Olde London Towne".

I still need my fourth tile for my gaming area, which will be a churchyard with a small chapel and the ubiquitous iron railings, but I'm also looking at doing some scratch-built Victorian terraces and a pub. The latter means I'll have to do a bit of research and look at a few of the more Victorian-looking pubs in my town, maybe take a few pictures of them and obviously it would be slightly rude not to go in an have a pint…or two.

And I also think I've finally worked out a cheap and easy way to make decent looking gas lamps, rather than paying through the nose for either 28mm metal ones or O scale model railway ones, so watch this space.

The game is indeed afoot!
