Thanks to Armand for his tireless efforts on this board.(Nude and Semi-Nude figures) I find it to be the best board on TMP where you can go for a good time, a bit of humor, a gallery of excellence and virtuosity in the plastic arts (painting and sculpting) a bit of badinage and sometimes sparky argument, and sometimes images that give you a truly sublime moment. (Sublime as n Hume).

It's become my favorite board. Now and then I find his handiwork on other boards where the images are specifically tailored to that board.

I even like some of the articles he posts and always remember that "the opinions expressed here are not necessarily those of the management"

Thanks again Armand.

Often what you post is the only consolation we in the Dawghouse have.

Here Here… Second that statement.

Texas Jack20 Aug 2017 11:47 a.m. PST

I also agree, though I do think we are overdue for more Vampirella. grin

Ottoathome20 Aug 2017 12:03 p.m. PST

Ah…Vampirella…..

Yes.

I'll tell you what we're REALLY overdue for is more Wonder Woman. I don't mean the latest one from the movie… of course I mean miniatures.

By the way, the pickings on television are so bad these days I have gone to a station called COZI TV which had old reruns of shows from the 80's and 90's One of the favorites of mine on this channel is "Frazier." The other day they had a show about one of his parties that always wind up like a horrible train wreck, and it was a Halloween party. "Roz" his red-head producer comes as Wonder Woman!"
Peri Gilpin who was the actress is just …not… quite…statuesque enough to bring it off but YAWSABOOS! She was pretty damn good!

For me the top wonder woman were Emily Deschenelle and Linda Carter, but in perusing through the images I found that dozens and dozens of famous stars had trucked themselves out as Wonder Woman, including Teea Leoni.

I have come to the believe that any woman as Wonder Woman looks good.

so…

Armand…

Wonder Woman…
Wonder Woman…
Wonder Woman…

I'd post a figure myself but I don't have the skills to find it.

Wonder Woman? Vampirella? Guys, come on. They aren't even redheads. (Though I will stretch a point for Dejah Thoris.)

But I too, appreciate Armand's contribution. Thank you, Tango.

Now, Now, Now Bob… let's not go there. Remember that on Daisy we have that huge fight going on as to who has the hottest babes, Romulans, Klingons, Vulcans, or Earth.

Once we settle the big question we can get down to hair color, nipple shape, butts, boobs, and belly buttons.

Here's a trivia qwiz for you guys, which creatures had two belly buttons.

tulsatime20 Aug 2017 7:04 p.m. PST

In answer to the trivia question "Tyranians"

Ottoathome20 Aug 2017 8:08 p.m. PST

EXCELLENT!!! Tulsa time.

Now can you answer our question from the Bonus Round? What is the name of the Actress who played the Tyranian who captured Alex Cord?

dampfpanzerwagon Fezian20 Aug 2017 11:55 p.m. PST

I agree.

Long may he remain active…..

If only Wonder Woman were also from Orion, and had green skin….

Was the double naveled lady Diana Muldaur?

tulsatime21 Aug 2017 2:58 p.m. PST

The Tyranian, Lyra-a, was played Mariette Hartley. The show was Genesis II produced by Gene Roddenberry. I remember the two belly buttons from watching the show when I much younger and that it was done by Gene Roddenberry, but for the details I had to consult Internet Movie Database.

I will add the chorus of thanks. My day is made when I can rant about absurdly large…uh…weapons.

Ottoathome25 Aug 2017 6:55 a.m. PST

Dear Tulsatime

Right you are. It was Mariette Hartley. I always thought she was miscast as the Tyrannian Femme Fatal. She was about as "fatale" as a piece of carmel apple pie with a big scoop of vanilla ice-cream. You always expected her to say "Aw shucks this isn't me, and come out in her Daisy-Mae's or crinolines at the church social. It was that blonde clean-scrubbed farmers daughter with the big smile that killed it.

Ottoathome25 Aug 2017 6:58 a.m. PST

Dear Virtual Armchair General

Nice shot! Diana Mulder played the analogous role in a production which was almost a clone of Eden II. It was Earth Two or New Earth or something like that. Same Premise but this had a lot more post apocalyptic stuff to it. One of the highlights of that movie was a car, call it your fathers oldsmobile which had a siege tower built on the back of it with mutants with nets trying to capture the hero and others.
