Sorry – shouldn't have just put a link in – the review is on my blog – summary: some brilliant figures on display but I didn't buy much.

It was a good show, I didn't buy much either. The Ian Smith and friends 40mm Napoleonic display was outstanding. The 28mm Crecy game was a close second.

I got pretty well everything on my shopping list, plus a few unexpected things (which I sort of needed…).

It was a nice day out, with a lot of good games, and very pleasant to have a chat with quite a number of people.

More Napoleonic display game than I have seen in a long while!

Thanks for sharing. I was able to atten Partizan in June 2016, and I really enjoyed it. I would like to attend the other Partizan some time.

I was wondering on WS&S page on facebook if the judges for the Best in Show and other awards have a list of criteria and questions for each game, or whether they just look at each game purely as eye candy and vote according to which one is most visually appealing? So far no one on fb has deigned to answer my question. I'd be interested to know.

Had to laugh – 40mm is now the size for visual appeal. Next we will be back with 54s and the wheel turns a full circle.

Lovely to see though. I haven't been to Partizan for years so I really must try and get up there one year

Another very good show with some great demo and participation games as usual.

Ian Smith and Friends 40mm "Battle of Adrades"

Stephen Jones "Wotiffs Bend"

A few more pictures are on my blog plus a link to a Facebook album with loads more Jabba's Wargaming

A super standard of games this year- especially loved Crecy and the 40mm Naps.
