Has anyone used/ordered custom Litko bases that are the 6mm thick plywood? That is basically the thickness of the Renaissance Ink thicker wood bases, and I was thinking of getting these because RI bases are no longer available.

Yes, I know the site, but I wanted to know if anyone had any actual experience with them.

Not with the 6mm thick bases, but I have used Litko's base maker wizard to get some specialty hex bases made. I had a fairly quick turn-around.

I have some. What do you want to know? Hard to talk much about wood rectangles.

I was curious whether they make a good substitute for those of us who used the thicker Renaissance Ink bases that are now out of production. Do the Litko thick bases just look and feel like double-thick versions of their standard ones, or are they somehow different?
