What size table do you use? |

It really just depends. I know, wonderful answer eh? Be warned, a lot of what I say depends on how much terrain you toss out and how big your force is! Also the scenario plays a big part in the thing too. 50 points or less is doable on 4´by 4´ or 6´ by 4´ tables. In fact, 6 by 4 looks and feels good with 50 points. 60-100 point is pretty congested, depending on terrain, on a 6´ by 4´ table. Armies that field a lot of teams (like an East German T55 tank force) will feel really crammed if you have all of your units on the board in a single 16¨ by 8¨ deployment zone in a quarter board sector. If you want an in general answer then I would say bigger than a 6´ by 4´ table. Maybe an 8´ by 4´? I´m usually stuck with 6´ by 4´ because that is what my home table will support and that´s what my game store has. |

Not Team Yankee, but I use Team Yankee figures for TW&T Cold War. Given the scale of the models, I find a 6x4 foot table looks about right for a platoon vs platoon engagement. With a ground scale of 1" = 10 feet, that comes to a 240 yard by 160 yard area. |

Usually a pair of 3x6 ft. tables put together. |
