I was thinking of experimenting with a solution of floor wax ("Pledge Floor Care Multi-Surface Finish" in the USA) and water, which I believe is the equivalent of the old "Magic Wash" (link) (link)

Assuming this equivalency, does Vallejo acrylic paint stick to it? I was thinking of white primer, diluted-pledge-with-brown for crevices, and then the remaining layers.

I have done this with the "Future Klear" version, which is the basis of my "Magic Wash". No problem over painting with Vallejo. The product is basically a clear acrylic solution anyway.
