Now, Variety is reporting that coming up next for the network is an adaptation of The Valiant, a novel by Lesley Livingston that follows "a Celtic princess on the run from an arranged marriage and a sheltered life who is captured and forced into slavery under Julius Caesar. She ends up training among the first wave of female Gladiators to compete in the Colosseum for fame, fortune and, ultimately, her freedom"…"

That would be the Colosseum that was built about 120 years after Julius Caesar died? She must have been a bit old – was there no retirement age for gladiatrixes?

I have no idea what CW stands for, but this does sound dire. More aimed at the Twilight fans than us old boys

The CW is a network that gears its programming toward young and mid teen age viewers.

I think the original title was "Stupid: The Series", but they had trouble signing up advertisers.

Seriously – how does garbage like this get approval to be produced????

The book does not refer to the Colosseum and women did fight as gladiators. This advertisement was probably written by someone who didn't read the book or know history.
