Just 4 figs (ab figures), bit of a mix of campaign and full dress depending on what im able to paint on the figures.

The detail makes them a pleasure to paint.

Not sure what colour or detail is at the top of a campaign colback, my book says a leather cap was used but does not state the colour, would it be a leather brown or red?

Very nice work! I would say red, but without any knowledge or reference.

Black. No hesitation.

same for colpack of Chasseurs a Cheval.

It was a leather flap that covered over the folded up but previously dangling red bag so typical of hussar dress….but that was only seen on parade or on direct attendance of the Emperor!

But what incredible painting of simply beautiful miniatures

Yeah. You did not just paint the lace…you highlighted it…..

In 18 mm scale too……

Now all I ask is place the guys right around the cannon. Trust me, I will give you grief after painting to this standard, if you get it wrong

Holy smokes! Man, are you welcome to Naps indeed!!! I have secretly been admiring your brush work on 20mm WWII ABs (those Germans in peadot cammies made me buy a bunch of WWII minis now sitting on my desk staring at me, unpainted..thanks for that…). Seriously, awesome brush work!! Would love to see your take on French dragoon/chasseur green. Thumbs up mate!

No, better than that. Just noticed the highlights on blue overalls.

These really are…not bad…not bad at all…..

It is the bottom lace on the collar that gets me. Any fool can edge the top of the collar (see me today with 52nd LI)

But the bottom edge…and I was working in 28mm…….
