Just curious what people think, for them* what is the most accurate painting of Custer t the LBH. *= just your own personal opinion I kind of like the one depicted here, though I don't know artist's name: link |

Its definately one of the better ones, showing the dash of mostly E Troop troopers as they try to make it to the river in the background. The warrior with the bow and arrow maybe 10 feet from the HQ compact group and the mounted warriors about to ride over the same group are a little suspect as from what I've read, the Sioux didn't really close in on that group until virturally all firing from them had stopped which isn't quite the case yet at this point in the "Last Stand". Other than that (oh, and maybe the trumpeter still mounted), I like it. |
