Now that more figures from the 1898 line are coming to America, perhaps someone could do a comparison. How do they match up with Old Glory SAW figures? How about the Tiger line? Re: OG vs. Tiger I find the Tiger somewhat larger and the rifles need cutting down to match OG. Also, the Tiger horses are way to large to match OG. Thanks in advance. Vince |

If you like the SAW then for painting information on the Spanish, I would check out a Spanish language movie on Netflix. It is called 1898: our last men in the phillipines. It covers an outpost there. The uniforms and other scenes are a wealth of info to the gamer and painter. |

I saw the movie on Netflix. I strongly recommend it as well. I really loved the way the uniforms went from bright light blue as they marched in to almost khaki by the end of the movie. My own 28mm Spanish infantry are in a more washed out Duck Egg Blue, but I do have a cavalry unit in the bright light blue. |

Vince, I believe you bought some 1898 Miniaturas from me but you didn't keep them because they didn't match Old Glory or Tiger, which was it? Mark |
