Reventlow was stuck in Skåne and felt his army was in dire need of more cavalry. But his reinforcement never came. On what he thought was silly grounds for keeping them back. Apparently the people home in Copenhagen couldn't send cavalry as they were arguing about the right shade of colors om the facings of the cavalry uniforms.

That's one reason the 5th Foot haven't appeared on my table yet. I can't find a good shade of paint for Gosling Green. But I'm going to try Vallejo Lime Green!

I don't even want to talk about the 35th Foot….

I think there might be a button-counter inside every historical wargamer just waiting for the right time to escape. I can't use my 52nd Oxfordshire Light Infantry any more since sculptors started making shakos with the correct bugle badge. Mine have the line infantry shako plate. Heresy.

WS mix VJ Yellow Ochre with VJ Russian Uniform and you'll get gosling green.

They may not count buttons but railway modellers, or at least some of them, count rivets.

My wife collects buttons, but it is a long time since I've seen her count any of them. Somehow, she thinks that a button collector has the right to ridicule wargamers.

Hobbyists are very parochial. We feel qualified to ridicule train spotters. Of course they deserve it.

I ridicule myself incessantly.
