I have a uniform question regarding Canadian militia at Ridgeway. What uniforms were worn by the York Rifles Company and Caledonia Company? The impression I have is that they wore rifle uniforms like the Queens Own Rifles, is that correct? Would they have been identical to the QOR? There was a "highland" company in the QOR, would I be far wrong if I painted them in trews and glengarries?
Thanks

QOR Highland company wore short jackets and Glengarries( not sure if they had diced bands); trews of Davidson tartan.
