Anyone know if there are any suitable sized sampans to use with 10mm, can't seem to see anything

Alrhough slightly on the small side, the former Kennington Miniatures 10mm models are available from SHQ.

Minifigs has a 12mm one. That's what I use mixed in with my 10m figs.

Thanks chaps,

Was wondering if you have any photos for me to have a look at?

Curious about their potential for ancient sampans, I looked them up.

Here is the Minifigs one, which has curious-looking deckhouses:

I haven't yet found a picture of the SHQ one, but did find the PDF catalogue that mentions it, on p. 28:

Flashpoint has nice ones. At 15mm a little large but for a sampan think it would work fine. Pics in my last battle post link

Thanks chaps,

I'll have a look at flashpoint, might be good for larger boats for 10mm.

I have sent an enquiry to SHQ to see whether they have any pictures, if not I'll see if they carry this range to shows and have a look at the next one.

Here is a photo of my SHQ models, alongside some Pendraken 10mm NVA

My understanding is that the old Kennington range was 1/200 scale, hence the rather smaller size. However, for riverine models, I find them acceptable as the smaller models do lend themselves to a degree of perspective by seeming to be further in the distance.

Hope this helps.
