Gaming Models has been announcing a variety of Cold War vehicles on their Facebook page, including the T-44! link For Girls und Panzer gamers — this is the final tank model needed to complete Bellwall's roster =^,^= |

The T-44 has it's turret to far back and the Super Sherman's is to far forward. Still nice looking tanks. |

Good eye. I can fix that. I magnetise the turrets on resin tanks anyway, so that will just be a little more extended work time. |

How is the quality? I want a Chi-Nu and a couple other rare tanks to round off my collection but GM model's surface look rather coarse to me… |

They are decent gaming models at a superb price. The surface texture is fine. No where near as coarse as Shapeways WSF! Some minor pitting in the resin, nothing a quick dab of Testor's Contour Putty doesn't fix.. It's the running gear that's generally lacking in detail, but not at all noticeable out on the table. Not a lot of fine detail overall, but again, fine on the table. I got the Chi-Nu and am happy with it. Sometime in the near future, I'll be putting up a blog post with Ooarai High School's tanks, including the Chi-nu. It is certainly the best Chi-Nu currently on the market ^,^ |

The main problem is that even gun barrels are resin, any long barrel *IS* going to break sooner rather than later. If you don't mind replacing them with rod then it is just fine. I have a number of these and detail wise they are fine for game miniatures. |
