Hello,

I am just curious if GW intends to releases vehicles sized to the new Primaris Space Marines. The Rhino was already a clown car with "old school" marines.

Is the New Repulsor designed for the new Uber humans, or just new?

Would 1/35 scale models now make more sense to use.

Thanks

The Rhino as clown car is an "urban legend" of WH40K fandom. It scales very nicely with marines if one allows for the idea that SMs are not in dynamic action poses and don't have a giant ,thick disk glued to the bottom of their feet, while in their APC. :)

To answer your original question, from the model I looked at in a game store, the new grav APC looks midway between a Rhino and a Land Raider in size. Hope that helps.

Yes, my experience with GW since '90, especially with Epic/6mm. Scale Creep is their middle name ! evil grin

Yeah. The strangest thing about the ongoing scale creep though, is that it would be simple to stop. Citadel miniatures are all sculpted digitally nowadays, rather than by hand. They could easily be scaled to the "correct" size, rather than getting endlessly larger…

I'd guess, bigger models cost more and in turn GW can charge more ! evil grin

Well there is always that.

I really wish someone would create a 3Q render of a Rhino with all the marines seated inside it similar to this render.

This video has a decent comparison of the Marines to the new repuslsor APC.

Try fitting ANYTHING in the original Rhino and Land Raider (the ones that were sold 3 and 2 to a box, respectively, copyright 1988). Still have one box of each.

I have collected Epic since '90 and have almost all the models they made. The sizes of the same vehicles many times vary based on release, i.e. AT/SM1, SM2/TL, E40K & E:A. And the new upcoming AT2 will be 8mm …

Something else some may not know. The original Titans were 1/500 while most of the other Epic was 1/300 … so … I guess this sort of thing is nothing new for them …

Outlaw Tor, care to part with those? I promise they will see table time :D LOL

Doubt they will be moving any time soon, sorry, sorta the start of my collection, along with Citadel metals.

Well, you could make them battle ready then, even pictures of them completed will bring a smile.
