Not only is it a Japanese cruiser, but it's anachronistic, too. Looks like the Nagara, but with her late-war AA suite, rather than her 1941 load out.

Pelias was my grandfather's ship. He was there on December 7th, but would not talk about that day for the most part.

I thought "nice diorama" too, until I saw that it's at a museum. I guess I think a museum – even one in Arkansas :) – should have higher standards.

A couple of other notes:
The repair ship Vestal is missing.
Even though it's supposed to be "hours before the attack", what is apparently supposed to be USS Nevada has run aground stern first.
