Seems he has been using these for as long as I can remember. Can't be a cheap way of packing minis (including the foam), though I absolutely love the things and the protection it provides.

Anyone know just how long CinC has been using this method? IMHO certainly has to be the best packaging in the entire industry bar none.

I assume 1978 at the latest. He had the only A10s available in micro armour at Origins '78. The nose was too long and pointy but easily fixed. I really can't remember what they came in but don't remember ever buying them in anything else from CinC. I also remember hearing about him before that Origins but can't remember buying anything before. First con I attended at 18! What a way to start.

I bought stuff from them in the mid 80's if not sooner.

GHQ stuff also came packed in those little boxes back in the day.

If I remember correctly the GHQ was a clear lid and a coloured bottom (or was that CinC??). First GHQ I remember is the yucky yellow (German armour yellow?) cardboard blisters. GHQ was early '70s for me.

I bought CinC earlier than 1978 but can't remember the date. The original boxes are smaller than the current ones.

All of my CinC boxes are clear but the older ones have CinC on the bottom and the address I think in white.

I remember GHQ 7 years war grenadiers with separate heads in boxes. I think they were 20mm?

I remember buying them back in 1974.

My first GHQ minis I bought in 1974-75. They were in plastic boxes. C in C couldn't have been too much later, so middle to late 70's.
