Great picture showing the open landscape. Some of the text is hard to fully decipher, but I am always interested in seeing actual Kursk battlefield photos. So different from UK/Europe so I need all the help I can get to make my terrain look realistic

Actually, Marc, the terrain looked to me a bit like western Kansas. But I'm pretty sure Ukraine counts as part of Europe. Certainly a lot more fun for treadheads than the Ardennes or the Thuringerwald.

LoL. Yes, I should count the Ukraine as Europe – I tend to think of it as Asia like most of Russia. When I think of WW2 Europe I think Normandy – bit blinkered

But it makes a change to see the rolling steppes of the Ukraine
