Having built my first ever Hop Field for a customer in 28mm scale a few weeks ago, it was only a matter of time before someone asked to me make one in 20mm!

So here it is, with the ground cover freshly applied just this afternoon. As with the 28mm version, it's just under 1 foot square (29cm), modelled with a central trackway and 5 rows of hop plants on either side of the track. All the models shown are part of my 20mm US WW2 collection, and are there to show you the scale of the build. Those upright posts and hop plants are 3 inches high (around 7.5cm)!

Tomorrow, I'm starting work on a series of Normandy Bocage style roads for a customer who plays in 10mm!

Also on the workbench right now – prototype wadis and balkas!

Lots of exciting stuff coming your way from Take Cover Scenics.

Thanks for looking,

John.

Don't fire on the hops! The beer harvest will suffer!

Thanks for the comments, guys. No actual hops was harmed in the making of this hop field!
