Saber6, I never thought I would see a gaming convention in Sheridan. Not sure what to think about it. I'm afraid it may be another sign of the watering down of the horse culture that has made the Sheridan area what it is. Bruce King and I talk about the changes taking place. He thinks we are old enough that it will keep its predominantly cowboy flavor for our lifetimes. It wasn't too many years ago that the editors of True West magazine gave Sheridan the first of its annual awards as The Number One Western Town in America. To me it still is and always will be. Nonetheless I hope the convention goes well. I wonder how many historical miniatures guys will be there. I'm coming back for a second trip this year, but before the con. Have fun. Tom |

Still a LOT of horse culture in town. Not just the Wyo Rodeo. I know of at least 5 rpg groups and 6-7 miniatures players. It has taken almost 12 years to connect |
