Why are so many of these figures left-handed? Not that thee is anything wrong with that, it's just a bit odd. Oh, and I give the paint job a C- at best. |

Ah miss d..k skirt again!! I don't know if I can agree with the low score on the painting. It depends on the granularity and resolution of the photo above. I do a lot of publication of war game materials (The Weekend After Action Report/ Keepsake Report, Bulletins, Saxe N' Violets, rules, etc,) and I get pictures from gamers that are gawd awful and look like a smear and some are brilliant, It's all the resolution and how the software is handling it. The photo above LOOKS like its been fiddled with and has had a bad transfer job. I can even spot some of the adjustments and techniques used to produce the picture. It's pretty bad. One thing is important. If you look at the links Armand has provided you can see someone has been fiddling with these figures. If you look at the originals you can see that the sword has been changed and someone has put the face-stones over the bases and some other small conversions here and there. The logo has also been photoshopped in, so you don't know what that has done to the effect. Still the painting DOES NOT SEEM to be the best. It's hard to see the logic of a painting service releasing their stuff with such a bad photo. |

Look at the bases in the picture with this post to the link you just made. The bases are completely different. There are no face cobblestones to walk on, the base is smooth, Miss D does not have her Dskirt on in the original, and the sword is different. |
