Played a Bolt Action skirmish with my oldest set somewhere that might become part of Poland, the Soviet Union or the Ukraine. Here are some FB links to photos.

Not sure the links will work, but thought it was worth a go.

Very nice looking game. Lots of foliage and terrain makes it difficult to see the figures. In light areas they do look quite good. Tell us who makes the figures and also show us a map of the whole battlefield thanks.

Keep up the good work

No map unfortunately. It was a quick throw together game with a few random photos captured from time to time. Next one we'll take a bit more care to record and set up better lighting. Reds are Copplestone, Poles are Siberia Studios. Both are very nice ranges.

Another one of those interesting wars that I'll probably never get around to.

I love this conflict. I have built a Red Army using Copplestone (I still have to paint them). I am slowly building up a Polish force using Bolt Action Polish lancers, Brigade Russian Shock troops (to be used as Polish regulars) and Old Glory French Artillery (to also serve as Poles).

Poles were defeated, but after a valiant defence. Some lucky rolls for the Red Maxim wreaked havoc on the Polish Maxim firing from the top floor of the Manor house. Once the Polish MG fire was silenced the Reds used their numbers to swamp the Polish defenders in the Manor with a close assault. Used two special rules for the game: flags/banners gave a +1 on rally rolls (which made a difference at a critical juncture for the Bolsheviks) and the Commissar could auto rally by executing a squad member on the spot, but at the risk (2 sixes on 2d6) of being shot by the squad, which would then flee. Commissar was about to try this when he took a round from a Colt LMG on flanking fire. Very entertaining game. Now I have to paint up a Putilov and get some artillery.

Very nice looking boards and minis! A conflict that I find most interesting.
