I'm a bit of an old timer and returning to the hobby having inherited a large Anglo-allied 25mm army. Mostly minifigs from 70s and 80s.I'm building a French army to oppose them. In a large lot that contains some of what I want as well as several that I only kinda sorta want – what would you say is the going rate for infantry? I've found them for 10 cents at a convention and for over 2 dollars from Calivers… I love minifigs but I'm also considering going Old Glory (72 cents with discount)and just ordering a few battalions at a time. |

I considered myself lucky to get a dollar apiece for my painted infantry. |

The last batch I bought off eBay, painted for two dollars for infantry and three for cavalry. Has anyone paid more for painted vintage mini figs? |

Old Glory mix in well with 28mm figures. I think they might look rather big next to 25mm Minifigs. How can I contact DoubleG? I'd like to find out what kind of 25mm Minifigs he has for sale. I can't PM him directly. |

I have lots of Minifigs for sale. Does $.50 USD per unpainted figure seem reasonable? |
Pete Fry | 07 Aug 2017 8:16 a.m. PST |
Yes IronDuke. I'd pay .50 and, say, 1.25 for cavalry (2.50 for guns?). If you send me a list of your French I'll get back to you via e-mail. I am petefry AT gmail. Robert – thanks for the advice on Old Glory. |

My apologies Pete, I checked my list and they are $1.00 USD per figure (riders or soldiers) and horses at $1.50 USD. I sent you my list in July and you declined then. So, I expect your postion has not changed. Again, my apologies for inadvertently missleading you. Rod |

Interesting discussion. I have been tasked to help a collector sell off his 20,000 figure 25mm/28mm collection, about 2/3rds of which are unpainted, the rest are painted, there are about 10,000 old school MiniFigs. A fair price is subjective; it comes down to what someone is or is not willing to pay. I collect 20mm figures; ACW, Napoleonics, Franco Prussian and WWII. I've paid top dollar for old Hinton Hunt, Der Kriegspielers, Qualitycast and other long out of production figures, other collectors are not willing to pay the prices I did. I'm happy to have them regardless of the price; I wanted them, I bought them, end of story. Some people are willing to pay .10 cents, .25 cents, .50 cents for MiniFigs. Good for them. I'm selling what I've got for 1.00 on the foot/2.00 on the mounted. Have sold off all the Spanish figures, also have about a dozen hard core MiniFigs collectors mulling over the rest of the figures, both painted and unpainted. So what a fair price is for one person may not be a fair price for another, I'm selling them at the prices listed, we'll see how things shake out. |
