Help!

Was there a standard height for the bottom of the Sashimono on the backs of Ashigaru? I'm looking at drawings and pictures on line… it would seem that anywhere from mid back to just above the head was acceptable for the artist but, was there a standard that was followed by the soldiers?

There was no standard size for sashimono. There were also various styles. Common ones were square, a 3:2 ratio rectangle and a narrower rectangle.

Very much as Rabelais says, no standard at all. We carry small, large, double and fan shaped sashimono. If I could get my butt in gear we will have some ragged edge sashimono in stock one day.
