Over the past couple of weeks I have been expanding my Drantakh forces with the new additions from Badger. The regular infantry troopers have been expanded from 6 unique poses to 12. Noncoms, standard bearers and comms specialists have been added to create command sets with the existing officers. Completely new troops include light mortar crews, HMG crews, bazooka teams, FO/spotter teams, medics, and flamer and heavy laser troopers. (These are all regular troops, the heavy troops will also be expanded, and vehicles will be added.) The figures are great. I'm getting motivated to come up with a color scheme and get these troops painted. Badger has been a dream to work with. Ben has been extremely responsive and helpful, particularly in handling my many questions about how the new line relates to the originals from Regiment Games. Both times I ordered I received the package two days later. Great product, great service. |

Was there an announcement about their availability? I've been hoping to see those back on the market for a while. |

Does Badger have a website? All I get is a facebook page, which I don't do. |

There was no announcement. I found them by accident while following a lead on TMP that took me to a Badger Facebook page. They provided an email address to contact in a message on the TMP message board a week or two ago. (I am not able to track it down at the moment. I wrote to them at "fromthebadger@gmail.com" |

Is this the same badger games that had a line of lizardmen with laser guns? Neat figs but they seem to do their best to not have buyers find them. |

Handy to know, thank you for posting :) I found the facebook page here and it seems that there are most certainly plans in place to expand the range… including a grav-tank (which looks pretty neat): link |

After H'con, which they attended if you recall, they posted that they were tweaking the new website and it would be up soon. Don't recall the exact timeframe, but I am sure that was just an estimate, or guestimate anyway. A good sign though. I know a lot of people are interested in the Pontoonier and Mongrel ranges. And the Gurkhas! A lot of people missing the Gurkhas! |

Hello All We recently decided to make a real go of this, hire people, go to CONs (8 this year so far) and do a website…right. It will not be a slap-dash. Every pack is being professionally cleaned, ink-washed and photographed so you will see EXACTLY what it is. We are also carrying a lot of ranges in the US not currently available in the US and have bought companies you thought were gone for good (Obelisk for one). Its not a small job. As we told people at Historicon, we expect the site up approximately September 1. In the meantime, if you want Drantakh, or Mongrel or Pontoonier Gurkhas, email me at fromthebadger at gmail and I will send lists and take orders while the site is being finished. We are expanding the Mongrel, Pontoonier and Drantakh ranges and with the site there will be a lot of new stuff. So, please be patient. We have 3 people working full time to inventory, photograph, clean, enter items, etc. and it will happen, but its literally 1000s of items (and we are nearly there!). And, if you want an item, let me know. We have been actively filling orders. |
