New deals this month:
David Powell's Chickamauga Trilogy, all three books for $2.99 USD each! This will come to be regarded as the definitive and exhaustive history of the Chickamauga battle. Highly recommended!

And for you American Revolution fans:
Michael C Harris' Brandywine: A Miltary history of the battle that lost Philadelphia but saved America. Harris is the park's historian and written a highly informative account of the battle. I have read the book and heard Harris lecture on the battle and I heartily recommend this book. A must read for you revolutionary fans out there. The price, $2.99 USD.

Lest I forget, Juliet Barker's Agincourt: Henry V and the battle that made England is available at $3.99 USD. At the risk of repeating myself, I recommend this book for you 100 Years War enthusiasts.

Powell's Chickamauga Trilogy is excellent, but very detailed. (Thus can be very dry reading.) Just the thing, though, if you're looking for gaming scenarios. Chickamauga was fought in dense woods with scattered small fields, so it was a series of brigade-sized actions. (The vision-limiting woods would be hard to simulate, though.)

I own Harris' Brandywine book and agree it is a must read and the best book written on a Revolutionary War battle. I first bought it when it came out in hardcover, back when it went for 35 dollars a copy. I loved the Brandywine battlefield and wanted a book on the battle for years.
I'll look at the Chickamauga and Agincourt books. Love those battles too.
