The second game of Talavera 208 was played this weekend on the two hundredth and eighth anniversary of the battle with a new group of players trying out new ideas.

The game proved a hard fought exciting set too with the the result very much in the balance throughout and culminating in a classic Spanish reposte to end things on.

Another brilliant write up. So good to see a game put together by someone who has done so much research and preparation. And what a visual treat!
