… the one that you were anxiously expecting to die and rejoiced when they killed him?… Me?… Walder Frey!… And you? Amicalement Armand

Never expected him to die, but I hate Tyrion. Gave up on the books once I realized he wasn't going anywhere. |

"hate Tyrion" Really? Unusual. What'd you hate about him? Not arguing, just curious. |

Left alive? Cersei. Euron is Snidely Whiplash. |

Janos Slynt's demise was enjoyable. I was looking forward to it since I read the book. |

Walter Frey – broke guest right. Bolton's second. Books are going big places – but the full scope simply hasn't been revealed. Its not a simple story and was never intended to be (Martin never really expected a mass low concentration audiance but like J.K. Rowling, he's proving a great story can change the tastes of an entire (well large parts) of a culture.) We read. We pay attention. We get nuance. TomT |

Personally I want Danny to die. She is erratic and not fit to rule (imho). Appreciate others disagree and that she will probably end up on the Iron Throne…. |

Dani says she isen't to be in any of the 4 spin off GOT series currently being ''thought'' about … so I guess it means she's brown bread or gets her wish to rule . At the end of episode 7 it looks like Cersei is still glued in place in Kings landing …. the ultimate bad guy is surely the night king with him astride an undead blue fire breathing dragon … |

There won't be any sequels. Look at how boring the "happily ever after" was in LOTR. It was kind of a pointless appendix. The spinoffs will be prequels far in the past. Robert's Rebellion? Only if George never bothers to finish Book 7. Dunk and Egg? From his cold dead hands, or a sizable check. But who would care about Blackfyre stuff besides book readers without a life? Any spinoffs will lack the … feeling? of GoT. It was brand new and different. Nothing will live up to the glory of the original. Shall I bring up Jar Jar Binks? Pod racing? Midichlorians? No. As far as I'm concerned, Season 8 closes the books. |
