Are there any of these in 'true' 25mm scale other than Warrior miniatures and Minifigs? I'm getting more 'old school' as I get older…

Tiberius30 Jul 2017 3:14 p.m. PST

Maybe Essex miniatures

The 1st Corps figures are smaller than average and fit with 25mm ….. but are not true 25mm

Ral Partha. I'm in the process of rehabilitating a whole pile of them.

Check out Rafms ancients, they are compatible with Ral Partha.

Hi all thanks for the advice.

Bashytubits, RAFM are lovely but I can't find Punic Wars era Romans in their list.

mckrok Are Ral PArtha available new anymore?

mckrok Supporting Member of TMP02 Aug 2017 1:44 p.m. PST

- Not that I know of.

How many and what types are you looking for? I'm sure I have some extras I won't ever finish.

Hobhood4, if you had typed in Ral Partha Ancients into a google search you would have found as the first listing Iron Wind Metals. Under Ancients there is a listing for Republican Romans. I don't mean to be cheeky but come on, do a bit of research for yourself.

The only problem with Iron Wind is that he wants $4 USD a figure. So not very cost effective. I like some of the figures but frankly with the great product available today I can't see going down in quality for more money.

Ral Partha ancients are still "Available" from the original moulds/masters from Iron Wind Metals, the successor company.

For $5 USD each (Ugh)' ie unaffordable for a lot of us except for a couple of single figures.

Thanks guys for the heads up about the other site.

Thanks mcKrok, I'm looking for about 50 Hastati/Principes, about 16 Triarii and 8 ish Velites. However, I'm in the UK so this may be an issue/problem

mckrok Supporting Member of TMP07 Aug 2017 1:30 p.m. PST

I'll see what I have laying around over the next day or two. I know I have plenty of velites, but am not sure how many Hastati/Principes or Triarii remain. I don't need them, so you can have them.

Thanks McKrok…

Hobhood4:
I only have a few Hastati/Principes or Triarii remaining, but a friend of mine has a pile. E-mail me at mckrok2000@yahoo.com. You can probably talk him out of them for the cost of shipping.
