Hi all, I'm slowly working on my Sikh War project using Newline Designs' 1:72 range. I've managed to get around to publishing a first post on the blog: link And some images to wet the interest:
At present, there are some figures missing from Newline's range. Does anyone know where I might be able to get my hands on some suitable (1:72, large 20mm, small 25mm) miniatures for Bengal Irregular and Light Cavalry, or Gurkhas? |

79thPA: Thanks! Phil: Thanks! I'll be using Black Powder. I'm currently writing up a document for the two wars in the style of a BP supplement. Will probably submit it to Warlord and see what they say. I want to get a hold of the John Company rules from TVAG as well, so will probably do that when I order their Sikh War flag sets. 23rd: Thanks a lot. Long way to go, but its been an enjoyable start. |

Been working on a Sikh War project in 25mm for almost 3 years now and am close to completion.Obviously I was doing other things in between. Most of the figures are Foundry with some Old Glory mixed in. I'm playimg with the idea of using a modified version of Shako for the rules. Still working on that. Will probably play test before the end of the year. |

LVG: I considered OG's Sikh War range, but the value of Newline's range was a big pull. That and the figures are little gems! Look forward to seeing your results. |
